Rachael McBride, MCN, RD/LD

Registered & Licensed Dietitian

Welcome! I'm glad you're here.

Every time I meet a patient for the first time, I ask what brought them to see a Registered Dietitian. While everyone’s story is unique, often the reasons for coming are similar. For one reason or another, maybe food is causing you pain, anxiety, uncertainty, or stress. Maybe you’ve heard a lot of different information about which foods are “good” and which are “bad,” leaving you confused about what you should and shouldn’t eat. Maybe you’ve followed a bunch of unsuccessful diets and each one left you feeling worse than the last. At this point, you may not be sure where to start or what to eat. I hope in coming here, you believe the same thing I do: it doesn’t have to be this way.

Whatever your goal is right now, nutrition counseling with a Registered Dietitian can help you meet it. However, let’s take things a step further. I don’t want to just tell you what to eat or give you yet another diet; I want to help you feel confident in your eating choices and develop a healthier relationship with food. Together we will sort through all the myths, fad diets, and misinformation so you can learn to make healthy and confident food choices for yourself. No more rules, no more restrictions, and no more deprivation.

If that sounds better than simply following another set of arbitrary food rules, I would love to hear from you. Together we will find what works best for you based on your goals, needs, and preferences. Let’s separate food from fear.

All sizes, genders, orientations, identities, colors, cultures, and beliefs are welcome.

I like to help with eating disorders & disordered eating, weight concerns, vegetarian & vegan nutrition, and nutrition needs in addiction recovery. Sessions can be purchased individually or in packages.
